Francesco's Pizzeria

Got carryout here and it was so good and the menu so deep for an inexpensive Italian pizza place that we decided right away to eat here again the next night. Great sauce, cheese, traditional crust. Also, we ordered another pizza with extra sauce, light cheese and they nailed it perfectly. Pasta cooked to perfection; excellent red sauce and alfredo. Nice flounder, mussels, and clams. Generous portions. Very quick carryout (like 20 min for a huge order). Only regret is they were out of tiramisu, but it was right after the rush of the Highlands Clam festival, so not surprising. My new favorite casual Italian place when visiting northern NJ.

We dock our boat close by and wanted a quick bite to enjoy while waiting for sunset, came across pizzeria. Knowing a lot of the places close by. Never tried it and boy so glad the attitude of the girl answering photo did not change our mind (attitude and kind of rude) While the mozzarella sticks where ice cold and sauce was a little lifeless. I tell you the pizza was delicious, fantastic, the crust was perfectly done, but it folded nicely, the sauce was sweet almost perfect. Good quality pecorino Romano and mozzarella. Wow it was 4 hrs ago we had it and I’m still thinking about it.. delicious out new spot while in Highlands.
