Pollo Tropical

The line at the drive thru is always wrapped around the building like most Pollo Tropical franchises but this one located at Silver Palm plaza doesn't work well during rush hour time. I have done an online order three times at this particular establishment to avoid wait time. Twice I've had to wait one hour after my pick up time for the staff to review my order & start preparing it. My most recent order consisted of only one sandwich & a key lime pie. It took them 30 minutes AFTER the pick up time to actually look at the receipt of my online order then approximately 45 additional minutes to start preparing the order. The lobby was filled with unhappy customers. One customer's order had been prepared and was just sitting for 10 minutes before he finally asked someone to hand it to him. This is not the place you want to order from after 5 pm if you're looking to feed your family fast after a long day of work.

They say that they close at 11pm but it's really 8:30 for most of the items on the menu. I went at 8:30pm and they told me I had to wait 45 minutes for chicken, on top of that they said they were cleaning to close and couldn't make anymore plantains, yuca or tostones, nothing extra so that we couldn't order that neither. I wonder of Corporate knows about this but if they don't I'm making sure to let them know.
