Chili's Grill

It’s been years since I’ve been to Chili’s, to say the least, I was shocked at how filthy this restaurant was. We, (my adult Son and myself), were seated, and that’s where the Customer Service ended. If we hadn’t been so tired, we would have never sat for 45 minutes waiting for someone to take our drink order, we went ahead at that time and placed our food order. Our cocktails arrived, quickly followed by our food. It would have been nice to just chill a little and enjoy our cocktails. That doesn’t seem to be the plan at this restaurant. There were dirty dishes stacked on all the tables around us. Kids were screaming and pitching fits. Since when does an establishment that serves alcohol, turn into romper room? My Son and I both ordered the Brisket Sandwich with French Fries. That was the weirdest sandwich I’ve ever seen. It was mostly cheap hamburger with a couple of thin slices of what they call brisket. Who serves brisket without pickle and onions? Chili’s does. However, I did discover that apparently they sprinkle pickle juice on the sandwich!! Maybe they were trying to masquerade the taste. It was like they had added lard to the sandwich !! Greasy, disgusting lard. I did finally manage to flag down our waiter and he did eventually bring me sliced onion. I would say the best thing on the menu was the French Fries. Of course, just about any idiot can make French Fries. My Son and myself managed to choke down 1/2 of our sandwich, was afraid to finish, afraid of being Sick!! My Son manages the biggest restaurant in the Florida Keys. The quality of the food at Chili’s is substandard at best. The Service is terrible as well. Never again

I moved to Homestead about 2 years ago and I often go to this Chili’s because I love their food (mostly margaritas and Molten); I got to say every time I go, I see new faces and service has been below average to the point that there was a day I just decided to walk out and go somewhere else to eat because We never got any help at the table. This past Monday, I went to have lunch with the family and Noel was our server, he has been without a doubt the best server I’ve had since I’ve been going here. He made our experience really good and while he was helping other tables, he did not forget about us. His service was so remarkable that next time I go out I want to go to Chili’s and I will be asking for him.

We order from Chili's every weekend. The food is great and the price is reasonable. We find their curbside pick up service to be very convenient. The only problem is, every so often, the order would be wrong or missing an item. No biggie. We just always double checked before leaving the parking lot. They are usually very prompt with the replacement order. Well today, I ordered "original chicken crispers" and received crispy chicken tenders instead. Like usual, I returned the order, with the receipt, and was promised the correct order. When I got the replacement order, I discovered that they just placed the crispy chicken tenders in the original chicken crispers batter and fried them again. See pictures for confirmation. Needless to say, I was insulted. Not only did I not get my order, but they actually tried to trick a loyal customer. That was it for me. I am done with Chili's. I guess I will try the new Outback and see if that will be our new weekend spot.

I really wanted to write out this review specifically because we had a great waiter tonight. Julian took care of us and we were a large group, he was extremely attentive, VERY kind, and carried an extremely positive attitude the whole night. When waiters are that great you can literally enjoy your food and enjoy the time you are spending with the people you are with. Thank you Julian keep doing great!

It had been a couple of years since our last visit. We were in the area and decided to take a chance. We had a very enjoyable evening with great food and friendly service. After that my ten year old son wanted to make it a regular eat out place,so I decided to take him there for lunch during the week. Again a great meal and awesome service. Much cheaper than McDonald's. I hope are future visits continue to be the same.
