Sonic Beach Homestead

I love the milkshakes (strawberry & oreo) my favorite is the strawberry cheesecake milkshake, they need to bring it back. Also, I love the chicken tender sandwiches & the fries are pretty good as well. I love sonic This time we came, we end up waiting a long time for our ood, because we weren't done ordering when the person got off the speaker, so we had to continue ordering at window then they gave me the wrong chicken sandwich so we had to wait for that, but I wasn't upset because this was the 1st time it happened.

It's sad because even they first opened up the experience was amazing. That being said it's years later and the food here terrible. I've given the benefit of the doubt but the fact that time after time after time they can't get it right. From experiencing an associate cursing out a manager and the team laughing in front of me in the drive-thru to myself placing an order and them giving me the order however they want. Staff is incompetent and it starts from the top down. I don't know if this is a corporation or standard business independently owned but either or whoever invests in this business needs to take a good look into the staff they hire and that is starting with management.

Been a few times through the drive through, service is lacking for better words. Employees have no professional attire on, wearing slides and sweatpants, when you get to the window they don’t even greet, they’re extremely loud and customer service is the last thing on their list. Also this drive way is covered in garbage. I can tell the quality of this place has significantly decreased. I’m not sure what management is doing here, this place has so much potential and so mismanaged.

I tried this place for the first time during pandemic outside in the umbrellas place attracted by the aesthetics. The crew who served the food was lovely for some reason they made you felt like in those popular fast food places from the 60s. He was generous enough with the ketchup and the sandwich was perfect, so I tipped him. Price was fine. Second time the entire old crew was completely replaced and it felt then like a subtle ratial tension for some reason. This time no ketchup and the sandwich was suspiciously sticky inside. Third time the girl also didn't include ketchup and food for some reason didn't taste as good as it used to. The lemonade seemed as if they had poured incredible unhealthy levels of sugar. That day I got sick. The trash can was unattended with all the garbage jammedand on the floor. Flies around. Absolutely abhorrent. 4th time the guy didn't answer my questions just was acting as a robot. The guy came outside and gave me the evil eye, acted as tooking the order then left, then I noticed he didn't send the order in the screen to pay so that's when I suspect he didn't take the order at all just to let me wait forever there. I didn't want to make him happy so i just left to not coming back again and went to DB. The place and concept of this place is wonderful but as always all these businesses fail because these companies always hire recruitment companies that never screen ppl enough and just stuff whoever is at hand.

This place would have gotten one start if it wasn’t for that nice young man who was bringing food to every car, black guy with dreads, I thank you. Your tone is everything and if I think for a second your being rude you are. There’s a distinct difference in the sound of one’s voice, horrible customer service. And the food was so bad! I was surprised at the quality of it!!! Was not fresh at all chicken tenders dry burger had no taste! Thank God I go back to Canada soon.
