What an amazing ice cream shop. Their homemade ice cream is top notch with real fruits flavor. I would definitely stop by again when in town

What a quaint little ice cream shop! It was a busy Sunday and people kept coming to order their ice cream. We enjoyed the flavors we ordered and the seating area with kids playing in the wall tree house/playground structure. The employees are nice and keep a smile on even when they are all busy bees working. It’s cash/check only so come prepared or they have a sign telling you to order and mail them the money later. There’s a nice little park located right across the street on a hill to seat and eat your ice cream. Will definitely come back whenever we are in hood river.

When the weather is nice it opens around spring break, but if it doesn’t open early it will for sure by my birthday: April 1st! I always look forward to Mike’s opening again each year!!! <3 best and only place around that offers banana ice cream!

Such great flavors - we had key lime sorbet, Galaxy (malted chocolate base with white and milk chocolate chips), cookie dough, and chocolate Oreo. All parties gave a solid thumbs-up to their choices. Quick, friendly service, and we’ll be repeat visitors on future trips to the area.

Refreshing and cool on a warm day, however my wife and I agreed the 2 different flavors we chose were somewhat tasteless. They did give a small bowl to our dog, for free. Very kind.

Good ice cream, great prices and awesome atmosphere of families, couples and friends getting cones. Cash only in the most charming way possible (they will write you an IOU that you can mail in)

Not a fan of anyone posting the medical status of its employees... "all our scoopers are fully vaccinated" really?? Who does that?? This is private medical information. Should we know the status if "mike" has had his colonoscopy this year?? Ridiculous.
