Lake Taco

Do not sleep on this place. This is some legit, delicious Mexican food. Seriously check out my reviews; I don’t say this for everyone. If you are within a 10-mile radius of Lake Taco, you need to stop what you are doing and go. Right now. It’s so bodacious, so delicious. I’m tempted to drive out and get some tonight for dinner.

Stop here... don't hit back, if you want some amazing traditional style food... with homemade tortillas... this is the place... we got the Chicken burrito which came with chips... so filling, the K-sidilla was probably the best item we got... the tacos were smaller but filling as well... spent around 30 bucks or so and they said it would be a wait and gave us homemade chips for it... like 5 minutes later freshly made food poped out steaming... 10/10 thank you!

Great authentic food. Visiting from Alabama and I was pleasantly surprised at how homemade it all felt. They gave homemade chips at our table as like a little free appetizer, looks like they do that for all tables. They were delicious. I ordered a pork sope, grilled fish taco and a Carne aseda taco. All were amazing. Would definitely go again and if I lived here it would probably become a regular spot.

I had a lake burrito. There was only one good thing about it. The tortilla. Seriously. Way over priced. Barely any meat, and who puts rice and WHOLE pinto beans on a burrito? Sorry, I might be from San Diego and have high standards, but this was not a great burrito. It was also not an easy place to find. They need to put up a sign or something.

Wow. Awesome hole-in-the-wall deliciousness. I got the fish tacos, my 10 yr old a pork and chicken taco, hubby got the steak burrito and our picky 8 yr old the cheese quesadilla. Homemade potato chips came first which sounds odd maybe but so good. Hubs' burrito was delish...the steak, we think, was the winning ingredient. Fish tacos were fabulous but must say almost stole the pork taco it was THAT good. TOTALLY bookmarking this for future trips. Watch out for the turn, ez to miss. Enjoy.
