Slopeswell Cider Co

This place had the best flight of ciders I've ever tasted. All five were unique and delicious, I would have gotten a pint of each. The atmosphere and service was friendly and I'll look forward to going back. I told the co-owner, Kristyn, that I only wished they had more of their canned ciders to go, and that they had a taproom in Seattle. The cider is so good I expect to see them in stores there before long.

We love Working Hands Beer and Slopswell cider! My boyfriend and I own a business in The Dalles, we keep working hands as our house beer we always give complimentary to customers. People love it and ask about it all the time. We will make going to Hood River to go to this brewery a hopefully weekly tradition! I LOVE the cider! So delicious and refreshing. Wonderful staff, great owners, great service. Everyone is so friendly! Comfortable atmosphere, they now have an outdoor area for seating too. Really nice place! I was in Hood River visiting family for Thanksgiving and just happened to wander into this place last week when they were serving gumbo (which I have to say is one of the most authentic gumbo bowls I've ever had)... I'm sure glad I did! Every single cider I sampled was amazing. The guy working was very knowledgeable and really knew his stuff - I chose a glass of black current cider and then had a glass of something Uno (can't remember the exact name) - they were both delightful. The atmosphere is very relaxing and I felt right at home. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in town! Thanks
