Hood River Restaurant

I will definitely come back! This place has great service and good food, personally I am Chinese and have been there 20+ times and I’d say this is the best thing you’ll get in Hood River, the missing star is just from the rice as it was kind of dry but the rest of the food is is really good and hot. It’s on the pricey side as we spent 40$ on 2 people but we definitely left with a full belly and extra food, Definitely come and try it.

The H R Restaurant is my very favorite in HR to eat. The service is wonderful. The food is always fresh and hot. The portions are large so you are not hungry when you are finished eating. They also serve great cocktails. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Chinese good. They also have a limited American menu. The price is right! Not good food but great food!

The sweet and sour chicken was overly cooked and dry. Since this was on 3 meals it was a waste as it had to be thrown out. Also the sauce came in a separate dish instead of mixed with the meat item. No red sauce came with the BBQ Pork only hot mustard. The chow mein and subgum had descent flavor. Definitely not worth the price.
