Yum Fro Yo

The SWEETEST family owned business! My family was visiting over the weekend from out of town and when we finally found the FroYo, they were literally walking out the door to lock up (it was an hour after they already closed). Without us even saying a word, they offered to go back in and open up for our 3 kiddos. Our kids watched through the window as they made the most adorable waffle bowls full of goodies. Not only was the family so sweet for doing this but the ice cream and topping options were wonderful. Thank you for making out trip that much sweeter.

Don't get me wrong the frozen yogurt is very good, but there was a few things I wasn't thrilled about. First off, the hours of the store was not posted anywhere in the store. As a local, I think this store has a lot of potential. Unfortunately they are only open three days a week and close at 7:30. Then, there was the couch and tables, covered in ice cream and sprinkles. As I was sitting outside, while no customers were inside, the employee didn't even attempt to clean up a little bit.

As a family owned business, I understand that having newcomers in town can be strange. Especially since Hood River is next to a major highway. And it must be difficult keeping up to code with a large interior. Especially if the kitchen still has the original piping of its time. But whomever was in charge of marketing is FIRED! My family and I were in town shopping in town and walked into an empty room with no attendant inside. The sign outside states that on Saturday's the business is open from 3 - closed. A dude came out from the back and introduced himself after we asked if they were closed. "Do we look like we're closed?" Frankly, YES! Since it seems the rest of the town closes by 4 PM. Thanks for ruining the only frozen treat in town worth stopping for.
