Michael's Fish Shop

We love this fish and chips shop! The cheeseburger is especially good and has a really great flavor to it, it just tastes fresh! My wife loves the fried mussels and fried crab stick. The fries mars bar is absolutely delicious. And the best part it’s affordable and super easy. The guys inside are really nice and will always put extra chicken salt on our fried fish. So happy we can support our local businesses, but it’s easy to when the food is this good! Thanks guys!

Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. You’ll get 20% food and the rest is all batter. Tasted bland, sad that We had to chuck almost everything in the bin. Paid $33 for absolute rubbish food. I wonder how they’re still in business serving this kind of food. Never ever going back again, wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy from this shop.

Went tonight ordered two flake 1 calamari plus $7 chips ,$26 , not cheap, I told staff twice to make sure they got the order, so went home , surprise,only one fish,so either they forgetful, or did on purpose,to save stock, I the only customer , so they can't say they were busy,I thought about going back, to complain, but didn't, anyway not going there again.

I ordered Barramundi, Flakes and Batter fish. Some flies in the shop. Staff nice & the Lebanese owner genuinely tries to offer good services. Great ventilation in place. If the owner addresses the fly problem, I will amend my review, plus I will add one star to the 3. Other than that, the place is clean. Quality of fish, chips and cooking is satisfactory.

Used to be good quality but not anymore. Last few times we got almost no chips, prices are high and food quality has dropped and shrunk in size. Biggest disappointment was the expensive scallops, which ended up being just tiny bits of roe in batter. Ordered 3 expensive scallops and received 3 pieces the size of 20c coins- not even a whole entire scallop! This is totally unacceptable. I’ve given them a few chances since to improve, but it’s just not happening.
