Bubba's Catfish And Seafood

My wife and I and some friends have been going to the Carpenter Dam location about two or three times a month. The last couple of times my wife and I have been, the fish has been overcooked. Last night was one of those times. We also noticed the pieces of fish were half the size. We have plenty of choices of catfish around Hot Springs that are good. We will give Bubba's another chance.

Best catfish and chips in town. we were visiting from Houston and I looked up to find best fish that is available locally. This was among the top suggestions. I would say that we were not disappointed. Everyone enjoyed their fish and chips. Very nice, very good pricing and the portions are good size as well.

My first experience eating catfish was at Bubba’s and it was delicious!!! The hush puppies were delicious also!! My boyfriend was shocked I never had catfish so when we visited Hot Springs he said I had to try it. Don’t let the hole in the wall appearance trick you - some of the best service and food I’ve had!! Highly recommend!! Hope to go back one day. 🤤

Very polite customer service. Called in a takeout order on a Friday night. I ordered the seafood sampler w/extra chicken tenders and an order of hush puppies. They didn’t have lemonade, only fountain drinks bc of COVID which makes sense. When you arrive, you pay at the walk up window. I waited in my car w/the windows cracked and they’ll call out your name when it’s ready. Wow, everything was so fresh and delicious! I was worried with all the fried items that they’d have the same breading but each item had a unique breading that was perfect. The catfish was terrific, the crawfish tails were meatier than I expected, the shrimp and tenders were spot-on and the hush puppies might’ve been the favorite. Coleslaw was good and should’ve gotten more. Fries above average. Enjoyed the variety of dipping sauces.

Y’all, we’re from South Louisiana and loved it. My husband and I were vacationing in Hot Springs and were told the area had great catfish and decided to try some. I googled “places to get catfish” and we set out to find Bubbas. My husband ordered boiled shrimp and I giggled thinking there was no way they would know how to boil shrimp and season them. I sure was wrong!!! They were great. The catfish was also very good. Their employees were also super friendly and helpful. 👍🏻👍🏻 2 thumbs up from Cajun Country!
