Jose's Mexican Grill

Jose's was awesome, If you ever in Hot Springs Arkansas and you're looking for a good authentic Mexican restaurant this is the place to come I know the owner owns quite a bit of restaurants in town and in other locations and it's all good fold good food the customer service is great. It's very good quality food and the customer service is great and it is really clean. And its family friendly as well.

My wife and I frequent Hot Springs a couple times per month and we love to try places we haven't been before, especially Mexican food. This. Place. Is. A. GEM! Our entire experience was something to remember from the moment we walked through the doors until we left with bellies full. The mural is beautiful, tables are ornate as well as the seats. Chips and Salsa came out very quickly and it was accompanied by a green sauce (delicious and tasting of cucumber), which was a real treat. We ordered a small guacamole and queso for appetizers. I ordered two specials. First, the Tamale lunch special (3 Tamales with chili sauce). They were delicate, moist and delicious. The rice and beans were just as tasty. Second, I had two chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce. It's rare to find a place in Arkansas with GOOD sour cream sauce. Theirs was amazing, but most importantly the chicken was so juicy and flavorful. Without a doubt delicious! My wife ordered Al Pastor Street Tacos and as much as she loved them, I wish I had ordered them too! The seasoning and cook was outstanding and with just a little bit of heat. Service and cleanliness was impeccable! We will for sure be back.

There were numerous options! A number of different burritos, quesadillas, tacos, salads, burgers, other entrees, and a decent number of desserts! They didn't have horchata which was a surprise, but i was offered a sweet strawberry drink that I really enjoyed. I appreciate the complimentary chips and salsa while I waited for the food which came at a decent speed. I got the De Todo Burrito with steak inside. Olives came with the dish which wasnt expected, but they didn't at all take away from the dish. The cheese sauce on over the burrito was a nice touch. I got to listen to Spanish Christmas songs while football was on TVs at the bar and in other parts of the restaurant. I wish the beef was a lil more flavorful, but I left full and satisfied.
