1921 Seafood

Went by on a Friday night during the busy dinner rush. Had to wait a little while probably 20+ minutes for seating, but our food and bar drinks came out quickly (minus the appetizer that came out after our food had already arrived?) I had the Crawfish Etouffee meal with potato salad. It was very good! It was a large serving and I had plenty to take home for later. I highly recommend stopping by and giving it a try!

In town for work. Locals said 1921 has best oysters around. They weren’t kidding. Biggest oysters I’ve ever seen. Ordered the trash basket grilled. Soft shell, shrimp, oysters and catfish. Enjoyed it immensely. My wife had the red snapper fillet with sweet potato fries. The food was delicious. A little on the pricey side. We enjoyed the atmosphere and meal

Unfortunately, I was not pleased at all. I literally stay two minutes away from the restaurant. I ordered half a dozen boiled crabs and a pound of boiled shrimp. They stated it would be ready within ten minutes. I get there within that time and then drove right back home. As soon as I opened the bag, there was no steam or any sign that the crabs were even somewhat warm even upon touching them. I called the restaurant to see if they normally give boiled seafood that’s cold. The person at restaurant stated they don’t so I stated I would like a refund because I didn’t pay for cold boiled seafood. The lady basically said I couldn’t get a refund and there was nothing that could be done. I am from Louisiana so I was not pleased at all by this Cold boiled seafood. Would not recommend this spot at all.
