Luke's Boiling Point

We gave Luke’s our service for years. They were our go to for live crawfish, however they started to care more about money than customer satisfaction. When we bought a large sack of crawfish for a family boil last year and noticed more than half the sack was dead, I called to report it. The lady told me I can bring the sack back but I needed to be there within 25 minutes otherwise I was out of luck because they were leaving. I live 20 minutes away, and still had to pack up the sack to return. I had to race there. Then when I get there they were out of the size I paid for and instead of giving me another sack of the next size up, they cut a more expensive sack in half to only give me my money’s worth. I get that this was their way of making it right, but when I bought 45 Lbs to begin with...how is 20 Lbs possibly going to be enough? They lost our loyalty that day.

I've tried different places in town who sold boiled crawfish and this place definitely wouldn't be my first choice. The crawfish I got weren't flavorful, most of them were medium/small at best. The sausage was okay but the potatoes need to be cut instead of boiled whole for them to soak up the flavor. I'd give it one star but the lady at the window was very pleasant so 2 stars, it is.

Best crawfish in Houma! My opinion. The people are first rate to deal with and take care of all of your needs, no matter if you're buying live or boiled seafood. They will definitely take care of you! Give them a try if you haven't done that already. If you have I hope your experiences have been as good as the ones I've had there. They are always my first call when looking for seafood!
