Pop's Cajun Cafe

Forget all the rest of the cafe and seafood places in Houma. Pop's has the best, freshest, and local food in town. Every order is cooked fresh from scratch with fresh local ingredients. In my opinion the absolute best oyster poboys in town with fresh local oysters. Same thing with the shrimp poboy. If you dont know what to get during the week is fresh daily made plate lunches and fresh daily made specials of the day. Also, the hamburger combo is excellent and offered every day. This place is a hidden gem in Houma that must be discovered by more people, I am telling you absolutely amazing fresh food cooked to oder that you will not be disappointed about. Give it a try and then give it a 5 out of 5

We ordered the burger and roast beef poboy. The burger is above average, not dried out and has a true burger taste and the roast beef poboy was the best I’ve had in the Houma area!!! It’s not drowned in gravy like most places and the flavor is just there! Everything tasted fresh. Great local restaurant!
