Lupe Tortilla's

Great place for Tex-Mex. Everything very fresh and delicious. Just the right amount of spice on my carné asada. Busy on a Wednesday night but we got seated immediately. Staff was friendly and food came out at a good rate. A little noisy but still able to have a conversation with my guest at the table. Expect to spend $25-$35 per person depending on what you order but well worth it.

This place has fantastic food! I had the chicken lupe, it was juicy, tender, and flavorful! The chips and salsa were great! Service was top notch, drink was half full and I got a fresh one delivered. The atmosphere is awesome, only negative is that there isn’t much room between the tables, but not an issue for most.

First visit just randomly for lunch and was so impressed with the atmosphere. It’s very homey and intimate parking is a bit of a drag but the service and taste really make up for it. This is the first place I’ve been where they serve you charro beans and salsa at the table and both were excellent. Ordered a small guacamole for the table also was delicious. Serving portions were great menu had so many amazing options im excited to return soon.

This place is just busy, I mean really busy. People seem to just love this place. A neighborhood type of place, with great parking options & kids sandbox just outside the restaurant. On the other hand, any good comments about the food would just sound like an insult. No words can be fair enough, and the biggest prove is the daily crazy crowed.

Wow! When we lived in Houston, 29 years ago, we used to bring our kids to this Lupe's to let them play in the sandbox, and we could enjoy an adult beverage. So 29 years later, we are back, and Lupe's is still here. We had a great time. The staff is amazing. The food was great. We will try and make it back before 29 more years... 😁😆

If in Houston… a must try! This location is on the smaller side, but it does have both indoors (bar and table) and outdoors (covered and not covered) seating. The food is fresh, tasty and in a very generous portion, when compared with other similar places. The frozen margaritas are delicious. Parking is a bit limited but it’s because of the area, which is surrounded by other restaurants and pubs! The ambiance and decor is actually really nice specially if you are looking just to relax after a long day. Space May be limited for large parties (+4)
