Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse

Our server Phillip was awesome. Our shrimp appetizer and bacon appetizer were amazing. The honey butter biscuits were so soft and tasty, and the bacon app was literally an inch thick. The bone-in ribeye with garlic butter was emaculate and my wifes Chilean sea bass was devine. We orderd dessert and selected the butter cake and we asked to have the lemon glaze from the lemon cake added and it was heavenly. We spent Two-Fifty including tip and it was well worth it...

We celebrated our anniversary here and had an amazing experience! Angye, our server, was super nice and attentive. The staff overall is super nice! You get good portions for the price and all of the sides are shareable. The lobster bisque, lobster mac and cheese were to die for and the steak was very tender and had an amazing sear!! Truly a must have experience for anyone who wants to try great food near the galleria area.

I called ahead about my food allergies and also spoke with staff in person, and was able to eat here without any concerns - the staff was very knowledgeable and clear about what menu items would be safe for me. My coworker, who is vegan, was also able to eat with us. The food was delicious and the service from the manager, Ali, and our server, Caitlyn, was excellent. Thank you for a great evening! ♥️

From the moment we stepped through the doors we had an amazing experience. First was the look of the restaurant; next the sounds, the lady singing during service was wonderful. Our server Angie was great. She was very friendly and we never felt rushed by her. Finally, the food. Starting with the freshly baked bread with plenty of honey butter maybe and the wonderful Wedge Salad. The long bone short rib my friend had looked great and I had the Surf and Turf Trio which was so delicious and the Fillet Medallions were perfectly prepared each topped with a taste of seafood; shrimp, lump crab cake and scallop. In certain we will dine here again before we leave in a week. (Sorry, my photos are usually much better than these).

Del Frisco’s Went to Del Frisco’s during restaurant week on a Saturday night. They had been really hyped up by a relative ( NYC location) so we had to try it. Parking is available inside the mall/complex garage but you may have to drive around a bit to grab an open spot on a weekend, then navigating from there to the restaurant can be a challenge because there is no signage. Valet is available for $12. Upon entering the restaurant you immediately get that luxurious vibe because of the decor, especially the stairs and the large chandelier. We got seated on the 2nd floor kind of in the middle. I would have preferred a booth for our party of 4 for better sound control. The place was busy because of the Houston RW I’m assuming? Let’s get right to it! > Our service was not really that great! Okay, but not great. She was always not visible or just slower than the other tables. > The food was good…but not great! The steak was definitely the best part of the meal. Well seasoned and cooked as requested. I would have preferred more of a crust or char. The shrimp app was also good and filing. The meat ball app was also good but both apps were warm and not hot. The rolls definitely not a huge hit. They needed more time in the oven and more butter. The mashed potatoes were great but the green beans lacked heat and seasoning. Note, they don’t keep seasoning at the table. The deserts were good. We had the Pecan Cake and the Pomegranate Cheesecake. Overall the night was still a pleasant experience and I would definitely return during a restaurant week, but I would not pay the regular prices for extremely slow service ( we were there2.5 hours ) and food that was not hot throughout. They play a pretty good music list but you have to strain to hear it because of the speaker placement and low volume. Eddy V’s was a much better experience from the food, service and live entertainment perspective. The ambiance here is better.

So I'm rating our visit from our second, "re-do" visit. We come to Del Frisco's in Houston for every special occasion for many, many years. At least 3-4 times. This particular visit was our 10th wedding anniversary. We have a table that we like and request and really look forward to our visits. I will refrain from speaking about the first visit as it was regarding the lack lustrous service. This visit was phenomenal. The manager Taylor generously asked us back and we were able to enjoy our anniversary meal as we expected and enjoyed! Everyone was on it and the food was delicious as ever. We like coming here for the experience from start to finish. It's what keeps us coming back. Thank you Del Frisco's for making it wonderful and keeping us as a returning patron. James and Amy

This was my husband & I’s first time to Del Friscos. We celebrated our 6th anniversary dinner here and could not have had a more wonderful experience. Our customer service was absolutely phenomenal, Tyler & Taylor were both lovely & made sure we were well taken care of. The sweet card & Roses made my night & the food was INCREDIBLE!! My husband got the ahi tuna & the salmon I ordered was probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Not to mention the view from our table was just delightful. Overall 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back in the future.
