Alexander The Great

First time in this Greek restaurant. We had no problem to get a table and parking spot Friday evening. Our server was very friendly and tentative. I ordered the chicken-orzo soup which was creamy and delicious. My partner tried the chicken with asparagus that was flavourful. I was in the mood for shrimp and rice which was a bit tasteless. When we were about to leave, the live music started. The overall experience was nice, we would come back.

I was here first time like 7 years ago, good food and service, small parking lot. I returned yesterday, the place was empty on a Monday at 3pm, ordered a gyros plate and some pistachio ice cream dessert, everything was tasty, fast, attentive service. My friend order something like a macaroni lasagna, it looked delicious. The place looks dated like it needs a remodel as soon as possible. Might come back.

This restaurant has great atmosphere. The Greek food is awesome! They provide a large portions and all of the items are wonderfully cooked. We visited on a Saturday evening and they crowd was medium in size. Getting into the parking lot takes a little bit of work because the building they are in is surrounded by one-way streets; however, the extra work is completely worth it. The prices are a little above normal but once again the quality of the meal makes it worth it. My family members shared the Royal Feast and they looked it. There was more than they could eat so we took home the rest and they ate the remaining portions on Sunday. I encourage anyone that loves Greek food to try Alexander the Great Greek restaurant in the Galleria area in Houston.

Everything was fantastic, we were here early on a Friday evening 530ish and the place was empty. But the food, atmosphere and service was top natch!!! From the Dolmades to the salads and entrees. We had yaya's chicken which was cooked perfect and mousaka which had rich deep flavor! Highly recommend!
