Frenchie's Italian Cuisine

I went to Frenchies twice; once for dinner (about 4:30pm) and once for lunch (about 1pm)…the food was delicious both time, but the level of service was night and day. Dinner, service was outstanding! Escorted to our table, spoke with us about the available options, made wine suggestions and then brought some of the most delicious Italian food I’ve ever had. Then there was the lunch; zero service. Had to order at the counter, not sure if the full menu was available, there were white menus on the counter, so we ordered from there. They gave us a number but most of the people I saw went to the count to pick up there food, we waited and it took 30+min to get our food. Still delicious, but the receipt had a tip line on it… come on man, we had to bust our own table, get our own drinks, get our own silverware and wait 30+ min for food. I highly recommend Frenchies for the food, but if you want service and don’t want to server yourself (everything except the food), you’ll want to go after 4pm. I’m adding stars based on the dinner service because while we were having lunch, no one complained about the service. I’m not local/a regular and don’t want to bash a great dinner restaurant for what “I” considered to be bad service.

The menu was a blend of classic and innovative dishes, each prepared with precision and attention to detail. The flavors were a revelation, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. The overall experience, from the ambiance to the cuisine, was a true reflection of excellence. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have dined at this outstanding establishment.

This place is absolutely amazing! The service is top notch and the food is even better. So much history and lore being told within the decor and atmosphere, it is like reading a picture book on the walls. The food was amazing! I had the special which was lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection! I will definitely return!

Omg the lobster ravioli. It’s ridiculously amazing and topped with crab and some of the best jumbo shrimp I’ve ever eaten. The bread is so delicious and hard to stop eating especially with the garlic and oils to top with. The salad was pretty typical but still good. The staff was so attentive and happy to have us. The decor of astronauts and space was perfect for me!! It is located on a plain unassuming strip next to Baskin Robins but it is no typical place at all! I definitely want to return to Frenchies!!

Phenomenal authentic Italian cuisine and a restaurant with a great history and passion for their product and customer experience. The service is efficient and staff is very friendly. They offer free bread of course and a large selection of wine/alcoholic drinks. A lot of NASA pictures, which makes it fun to look around and adds to your confidence in the quality of the restaurant. While you pay a high price for the food it’s 100% worth it!

Amazing Amazing place. If you are visiting Houston, and if you are visiting nasa space center, this restaurant must be in your list of things to do. Food is amazing. I have never had a better garlic bread and dip in usa. Main course has lot of varieties and it comes with garden salad and pasta sides. Potion sizes are huge, so order accordingly. You can choose between salmon, chicken, shrimp and there are chef special lobster ravioli and other items as well. Plenty of options and from what i can tell, everything was looking stunningly well. Service, it was totally admirable. They were nice and courteous. Very helpful with questions. At the same time they give you space to enjoy the food and company. They also sang happy birthday to one lady at another table. Owner is gem of a guy. Have been meeting all astronauts and have all the pictures up on the walls but still so down to earth and friendly with everyone. Always with a smile. Beautiful soul. A must must visit.
