Fantastic dinner. Everything was great, from cocktails/mocktails to starters and entrees. Nancy cakes were so good we had to get two orders! My wife got the burger (apparently a fav of some guy named Justin Verlander) and I had the capellini. Parmesan and black pepper cheesecake was a surprisingly tasty combo. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Lovely ambience, great cocktails, and delicious food! The kitchen is very crafty here and everything we tried was great. Servers were wonderful as well! The restaurant is pretty small so I recommend making a reservation.

Our server, Kim, was so good to us! She made sure to ask for any allergies, which my boyfriend did have to tree nuts. She pointed out which dishes to be wary of and did a good job explaining what the other dishes were like. We didn't even realize we needed water refills until she'd come and do it for us. For the food, everything was good. I don't think you can go wrong with anything really, but our favorites were the parmesan pancetta croquettes, nancy cakes, hamburger, and the grilled ny strip steak. The dumplings were also really good. Probably our least favorite was the sourdough capellini, not because it was bad, just because it didn't have as much flavor as the other dishes we got. The desserts were really good as well. I really liked the hojicha semifreddo - it's a good dessert for 2, but my boyfriend couldn't eat it (he got the cocoa nib ice scream and sorbet instead)... I couldn't finish the semifreddo. I would highly recommend this place!

The ambience is really nice here. The waiter was polite and offered recommendations that were well received. I ordered the Nancy Cakes; spicy beef + butter dumplings; roasted mushrooms (waiter recommendation) and a cheeseburger as I had heard and read great things about all the items. The Nancy Cakes were delicious and left me craving more. The dumplings... maybe I had high expectations but they weren't for me. The roasted mushrooms were also really great. The cheeseburger was a little salty for me sadly :( As for dessert I had the cocoa nib ice cream and parmesan cheesecake, boath which also weren't for me sadly. They were rich in flavor, though! As for the overall experience, we had unexpected wait times and so the restaurant sent over two pickle parties as a result which was greatly appreciated. Its definitely THE date night spot and Im happy I got to try it out while I was in Houston.

Not to be confused with the late great Nipsey, Nancy’s Hustle is one to be reckoned with. This is a low lit bar in EaDo with exquisite eats and colorful drinks. We started off with Nancy Cakes. Imagine a pancake appetizer with a butter topping that politely dissolves in your mouth. That’s what this becomes. We followed that up with the spicy beef & butter dumplings and these were such fun bites. I was mad when it was over. It’s a gentle dumpling that packs a lot of spice and looks like a pond when it comes out to you. The drinks are creative. i had a pimm’s potion which disappeared sooner than i expected it to. So i never had swordfish before so i figured tonight would be a great time to try it. its a very delicate fish. i could see how it would be difficult to cook correctly but they definitely got it right. a slight smoky taste to it. you could chew it with your tongue. definitely moving swordfish up in my fish power rankings. the fries were the fries. the toum sauce is interesting though. it has a curious taste. i saw myself continuously dipping a fry to make sense of the sauce. I also had the cheeseburger which really looks like an debonair mcgriddle when it first comes out. doing a sandwich with an english muffin is different but it works. the beef is flavorful and pickles are appropriate. overall im in first lust with this place and will be back soon.

This is a must stop!! Besides the establishment being super cute, they have amazing service and their food is even better! I started with the Butter dumplings. They were light yet packed with a ton of flavor. Then, I had to have the double cheeseburger on a muffin. YES, everything you have heard or read about it is 100% correct. Then, to finish the night, I tried the black pepper cheesecake. Wow, again, it was not too sweet and hit all the right spots. This is a must try if you are in town for a night or live here. Nancy's Hustle, does it right!!!

Loved just about every bit of our experience. There were no reservation times available so the 2 of us walked in and they were able to seat us immediately. The menu has so many great options. In order we got the cucumber salad, Nancy cakes, mushrooms, swordfish pasta and side of fries. Everything tastes amazing and had so much flavor. Our bill was right at $100 (no alcohol) which I think is pretty reasonable. The only minor downside was our waiter was reserved and didn't have much to say. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Once I arrived as a walk-in, I was immediately greeted by the host, who sat me at the bar, where I was then greeted by the waiter/bartender within minutes. I chose a sparking rose/cider cocktail and two dishes: dumplings and Nancy cakes. The dumplings were steamed and seasoned to perfection—I enjoyed the sauce. The Nancy cakes were tasty; however, the texture wasn’t my favorite. It could have been more crispy, and the whipped butter sauce needs to be thicker as it would complement the temperature of the cakes. Overall, the location, atmosphere and food is worth giving this place a try. I will be back.

10/10. We got the Nancy’s cakes with delish house-made butter, lamb dumplings, zucchini, burgers and fries, and a couple drinks. Everything was good.
