Hank's Ice Cream Parlor

I have to give it five stars based on the history, the love for the place, and the respect for Hank. His family runs the place now, and it’s not as consistent as it used to be when it comes to hours and service. The ice cream is still amazing, and the service is always nice, but they’re consistency with hours is damaging to business and reputation. Maybe they don’t have enough help, but a business should always stick to posted hours. 100% always either way, Hank will always be there in my mind. Can’t imagine the place without him. If you want amazing ice cream and you’re close, give a try and see if they’re open, or call ahead. That’s what I usually do when I’ve gotta have some of the best ice cream around for many decades now.

Warm & cozy Ice-cream cafe. The variety of ice-cream flavours is spot on, (nothing worse than being bamboozled by a million choices). Delicious cheesecakes, pies and vegan brownies to accompany your hot drink. I had the Key Lime Pie and the tartness was perfect. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, you can stop for a quick coffee or enjoy the ambiance and linger for a couple of hours, which we ended up doing. There’s a play area for the little ones and a table of purchasable goods lovingly handpicked by the owner. Definitely worth a visit, once you’ve been it’ll become a favourite.

Omg! They have a German chocolate ice cream. I love it. They have limited supply and sell out of things fast. But you must go back and try them all. Butter cream (butter pecan with no pecan), Texas oreo (nice creamy taste with huge oreo cookie pieces) and the German chocolate (taste like the cake without a huge amount of coconut).
