Pappas Bar-b-q

I was coming back from Spain and when coming back I was missing some bbq , I was looking for places to eat and this restaurant popped up , I was looking through the menu and the food looked delicious . When I was about to order and a manger came up to me and asked what I was going to order and she gave me some recommendations . I was asking questions on what is the most popular plate and she told me the brisket plate . She was giving me good suggestions on the food and the one plate that sounded good was the the brisket plate. When I got my plate I went to sit down I tried the food and it was so good I missed it the bqq . When I was almost done with my plate the manager Ms. Evelin came to my table and asked me how the food was and I told her it was delicious. In my opinion the food was delicious I would give it a 9/10 the costumer service was on point

I have been to other Pappa's eateries and expected this to be more upscale. Turns out it follows in the tradition of many other Texas BBQ restaurants where you go through the line to tell them what you want. The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice. I would recommend the family platter if you have two or more eaters in your group.

The food is decent. We had ribs plate and chopped beef baked potato. The service cashier (older seasoned black momma) reminded me of home back in the day. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and most of all treated us like family. So much so that my husband jokingly told her if he wins the lottery he would retire her. She laughed and continue with her impeccable service. Queen and mother of the establishment and definitely a keeper!!! We'll see you again hun.

We love it so much that we went there two days in a row. We ordered the mixed platter on the first day, then just the baby back ribs on second day. Nice relax atmosphere. Not a fan of the Mac and cheese but order them anyway on both days as the side, cause my other half loved it. Portions were good for two people. We left full and satisfied.
