El Tiempo Cantina- Gessner

El Tiempo Cantina truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment I stepped in, the welcoming staff made me feel right at home. The vibrant atmosphere added to the overall dining experience, and the location was perfect. However, it was the incredible food that stole the show. Each dish showcased a perfect blend of flavors, leaving me thoroughly impressed. I can't wait to return and indulge in their delicious offerings again.

We were in town and craved Mexican Food. So glad we came here! This place was amazing! The food was extremely favorable and the customer service was top notch. The portion sizes were good and everything tastes homemade. Even the chips and salsa was great! I loved the atmosphere and the uniforms that the staff wears! You truly feel a family business here. I strongly recommend this place for anyone craving Mexican Food !!

Excellent service, delicious food and perfected ambience. The decor is so pretty and you feel like you’re in Mexico. They start you out with the best green sauce and great chips. I wasn’t a big fan of the red sauce, but the green sauce is terrific. Perfectly creamy and flavorful. The margaritas are great, especially for being a “house” margarita. We shared the beef fajitas. The butter dipping sauce is flavored with a hint of lime. The tortillas are thin and a good size to make a good taco. They have green rice and regular yellow Mexican rice; I preferred the yellow. Our waiter took excellent care of us and the service was fast. Will return for sure! (The lighting is low, so the photos are difficult to see the true presentation, but all was great!)

Our go-to Mexican in Westchase (Gesssner location) or anywhere we're near one of their locations. Amazing chips and salsa, fajitas, margaritas, and mixed plates. There's no wrong option here, but highly recommend the fajitas (any type) and the gold margaritas. Hats off to Julio, Jesus, Horatio, and Mario for service - always above and beyond. A solid choice for Mexican food, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Absolutely delicious food. The prices were a little high and my waitress was a little weird/awkward, hard to hear and I felt like she was trying to rush us out the door but other than that it was a great meal! We'll be back the next time we visit Houston for sure. The queso is super yummy. Margs are good but quite pricey for the size.
