Katz's

Chante is a gift (our waitress).....she made our lunch so fun.....we drove from San Antonio to eat here after my BF's treatment at MD Anderson Cancer center ....rough morning and he was really looking forward to a better day...her giggly demeanor and thoughtful attention was a sweet finish to his painful morning.....the food was more than filling it was grand with a lovely presentation and finger licken goodness.....the potato pancakes are to die for (thank you Chante) and both our corned beef meals were good for a leftover meal as well this evening....and the coffee...mmmm mmmm hot n strong.......It was also a perfect temperature there to cool off. Thank you Katz and staff for your hard work.....really made us out-of-towners feel like family......so after our hotel stay tonight we will enjoy breakfast there as well on our way back home.

Parking: Plenty of parking around the side of the building. atmosphere: New York City decor. Very clean, very organized, no issues there. Service: If I could give my server six stars, I would. My wife and son have never been to Katz and were conflicted on what to get. He was very patient and informative. Want him every time we go. The food was great. I had matzo ball soup to start, a reuben sandwich for my actual entree, my wife and I shared the carrot cake. All were delicious. The family was very happy with their choices. Six stars.

Great atmosphere and a great Staff. We enjoyed the half Pastrami/ half corned beef sandwich a side of kraut. The meat was tender and had great flavor, the NY style cole slaw brought me back to when we lived close to the city and the pickle was perfect. The atmosphere was great with lots of cool pictures to look at. Why not a full 5 star? The gluten free bread needs to be improved a little bit. It fell apart to easily and needs a bit more flavor.. For what they charge for a sandwich and then more money on top of that for GF bread, everything should be amazing.

We stopped in for a late lunch this afternoon and had a delicious meal! Our server was excellent with her suggestions and helped us decide exactly what we wanted. We ordered a “Skinny” corned beef sandwich on rye with thick cut NY style chips and a Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream. We were happy to be able to order of the breakfast menu at 3:30 in the afternoon. The meal came to the table quickly and was perfectly prepared. The best thing about Katz’s is….Katz’s never Kloses!

KATZS is another restaurant in my neighborhood 25 years of living in Houston and this was my thousandth time at Katz's! We arrived on Friday night around 1 am. m. After the party in downtown. So my friends and I looked for a late-night restaurant and one that is open 24 hours. Wertheimer Rd and Montrose area. Katz's Galleria on 5930 westbeimer rd. Houston 77057 . Katz's NEVER Kloses. Full Variety of breakfast, lunch, dinners, and drinks, wonderful place after party. Parking is across the street in the lot or I guess you can park on the street if one is available. Our server was quite friendly and helpful in suggesting things on the menu for me to try. . We also ordered fries, margarita flight, mango, peach, strawberry, lime, chicken cesar sala, Texas Brisket Benedict, home Texas fries, overall it was good. I wasn't expecting much from a late night deli, but it didn't disappoint either. I would rate my food with 5 experience was wonderfully Martha M

Super cute place and I love that it’s open 24/7 ! Also the foods pretty good! Last time I went they accidentally put garlic butter instead of normal butter on my pancakes and they were super sweet about fixing the minor mistake and they were all super kind people! A little slow to deliver food but aside from that super nice !
