Mccormick & Schmick's Seafood & Steaks

Good steaks, Excellent service. Complimentary valet. The wine list was varied without being overwhelming and the vegetables well prepared. My table ordered 4 different cuts of steak to 3 different doneness and 3 of the 4 came out perfectly. The fourth was underdone and returned to the kitchen. Less than 5 minutes later the manager was at our table, properly cooked steak in hand. The only downside to our patio seating was that the headlights from the cars pulling up to the valet kept catching one of our table in the face. Bright Lights!

My Fiancée & I went here for a quick bite in the evening & were able to get a spot at the bar without any wait. Dorian gave us excellent customer service & was really knowledgeable about the menu. He did a really good job on finding the right items for us to order. Seriously now let's talk about the cake!! It was the absolute best I ever had. I mean, the crab meat is evidently fresh; It was well balanced and most importantly... no shells! After a few entrees, appetizers, & drinks we left only spending around a $150. Richard the manager was also really hospitable & professional. We will most definitely be back soon, thank you guys!!

I just had lunch at the bar and overall everything was great! My bartender, Kayli, was very polite and accommodating. She even customized my drink for me. I had the clam chowder with a waygu steak salad. The steak was cooked perfectly (not hot, but it's ok on the side of a salad...lol), and the salad was fine, just a little too heavy on the olives. They overtook the taste of the salad. Other than that, very pleased.

I was having a lunch provided by my company. They did a good here, the food is amazing. Everyone had a steak or seafood. Regardless of what the food was great. I ordered a black rub steak and it was tasty and made to my liking. The atmosphere here is very quiet and calm. So if you get loud in here, I'm sure you will be asked to make adjustments. Other than that, wow, I have eaten at some restaurants but this place blew my mind. I will definitely take the my wife to enjoy this place. On a special occasion of course.

THREE STARS AT BEST. SERVICE TWO STARS!!! (updated review to 4 STARS below). The service was disappointing. I can't remember what the food tasted like. I think I was taken aback by the lack of attention. I had to wave down the bartender EVERY time. He completely ignored me. I've been to several places when they're busy and at minimum the bartenders will check on you as they pass to grab another order, ring up a bill, etc. Even the bar manager asked me about a drink and never checked back. I guess in away that's good. I saved money. I'm always looking for places to enjoy HH. I love hitting up different spots at City Centre. I don't know if I caught them in an off day, but this is by far my worst customer service experience of all the spots I've been too. I rank them a 3 because the staff wasn't rude. They friendly. They were pleasant. They just weren't attentive. The opposite of it. EDITED TO 4 STARS. Came back and gave them another chance. Talked to the bar manager Jeremy, who makes DELICIOUS DRINKS. Had a much better experience. Didn't tell Jeremy about my previous experience until later. I let him know that they had redeemed themselves and recounted my previous experience. Service was great. Food was great. And they have mussels as part of Happy Hour now. Perfect! Glad I gave them another shot. I'll add this place to my HH rotation.
