Dolce Vita Pizzeria Enoteca

My absolute favorite place. Their Taleggio and Pear pizza is tops and my favorite pizza of all time (I'm legitimately obsessed with it!) and their anchovy and tomato appetizer is so interesting and unique, I'm hooked! I've never had something I didn't like (love!) there. They have great wine, ambiance, servers, chefs, and overall feel... But love that I can also get takeout, too, if I'm not feeling like eating out. If they delivered, I'd be so poor and fat :) Never change, Dolce Vita!

Update: the owners have announced they are shutting down this restaurant as soon as they sell the building, so if you want to go, go now. Original: Dolce vita (sweet life) indeed. Food is fantastic and the menu is varied. Our waitress had great wine pairing recommendations for what we were eating. Plenty of options for dietary restrictions, too; there are vegetarian and vegan options, and they can customize a pizza to suit your needs. I do not recall seeing a gluten-free option, though (although I wasn’t looking, I don’t have that restriction, luckily). Parking is valet only or you can park down the street and walk. My party arrived in both manners; valet is $3, plus any tip you’d like to provide.

Oh best pizza ever!!! We order 3 different pizzas, one with tomatoes sauce and cheese, one with prosciutto, one with pear and arugula... All tree different tastes and delicious! The place is nice but only inconvenience is that they have one bathroom per floor so if you have little ones be aware that you might need to run downstairs or upstairs to get there lol Other than that great food and place to have nice dinner or lunch!

The service was excellent. The staff was so attentive. We tried 2 selections from the daily special - a pizza and a pasta dish. Can't say enough good things about the pizza - crust was thin, toppings were just the right amount, so flavorful! Pasta was tender. Topped it off with a trio of house gelato. Yum.

I recommend this place. I have been going to this place for about 3 years. After trying other Italian restaraunts I find myself returning here. I enjoy their daily special and usually like the fish dishes but feel confident in trying new things her as they usually are very good. The sangria is great (they tried a couple times to change it up and add cinnamon and caught us off guard because we preferred the original recipe). The pizza is very good with quality ingredients. I tried a couple pizzas that were not for me, not bad, just not my taste and the restaurant swapped it out for me no problem. I enjoy the meatballs here (usually very consistent). We enjoy the octopus, croquettes, beet salad, cheese and many others. I have had lots of good dishes here. The place is a converted house and very quaint. I really like the atmosphere both downstairs with the bar and upstairs with the fireplace.
