The Tasting Room @ City Centre

We stopped in for a late lunch today. The Crisy Deviled Eggs were delicious. I had a house salad and I loved it...ate the whole thing. The pecans on the salad were so good. The pizza was very good...I did 1/2 Mushroom and 1/2 Prosciutto and Argula. The crust was tender and delicious. Hubby had the Hot Chick Sandwich. He liked the amount of heat and the bun was light and had good flavor with the seeds on top. The manager, Joe, was very friendly and helpful!!

Visited the restaurant for brunch on Easter Sunday and had a fairly solid meal. The different dishes we ordered were all pretty good, especially the Crème Brûlée French Toast. It had the perfect balance of soft and crispy bites based on the different levels of char on the bread. The only issue we had was the speed of the service. Our waiter was great and friendly whenever we interacted with him, but for the fact that the restaurant was less than 40% occupied (and that’s generous), we did wait a lot throughout. Maybe they had staff shortages because of the holiday, but that did make for a lesser experience in general.

What a delightful surprise this place was. My friend and I were in the area to furniture shop when hunger struck. We happened to be a few doors down from The Tasting Room and decided to try it. Our server was Dalton D and he was excellent. He made great suggestions and was attentive without being obtrusive. We ordered the Hot Chick Sandwich, garlic shrimp, truffle mac-n-cheese and 2 Chocolate Martinis. All excellent and honestly...better than expected. Full of flavor. I look forward to trying more menu items on my next visit.

Visited here today for brunch and it was lovely. The Tasting Room is currently not offering the entire brunch menu, but they did have a variety of choices. I ordered the Brie with sweet pears 🍐on brushetta for starters and the Smoked salmon avocado toast for main course. It was all delicious 😋. Everyone at our table cleaned our plates. The service could have been better. Our waiter sometimes got lost coming back to our table. It wasn't busy, so that wasn't a factor. Nonetheless, I will definitely be back.
