Golden Dim Sum Restaurant

Came here with my in laws a few days ago and this is a great hole in the wall dim sum place. All the dim sum dishes were very traditional. I really like their pan fried turnip cake, baked custard lava bun, fried durian pastry, and baked bbq pork bun. Good place to satisfy late night dim sum cravings

So, me and my girl's family meant up here for my future niece's birthday dinner, which I have a feeling has nothing to do with her. Once you're seated, you give the server all you want to order, and it comes out, and they place it on the center of the table, where it turns. So everyone can get something off the table, I love that. The whole dinner I had a variety of food I'm not used to, but open too. So I really can't tell you what I ordered. But the food was really good. Some were a surprise to me. Service was good. This was definitely an experience I won't forget.

I always order the house special pad Thai noodles. It’s delicious and wholesome. The dumplings and the desserts are delicious as well. If you like dumplings then you’d be spoiled for choices here. The service is sharp and the waitresses are courteous. The restaurant seems a bit dated, if this does not matter to you then you will have a wonderful experience of enjoying the food here. My suggestion to the owners would be to get some more Ventilation in place and play some local music in the background and maybe even add some local fragrance. You may be surprised with what this does.

So I ate here for weekday brunch, didn’t know what to expect. Its a hole in the wall kind of dim sum restaurant. We ordered of a menu, the food came fairly quick. They had a huge selection to pick from. I have to say, I didn’t know what to expect but this has been one of my better experiences with dim sum since COVID. Every dish was delicious, although the rice porridge(congee) needed more flavor. My friend really liked the roasted duck. This is a must try if you’re in the area and craving dimsum. Only reason I gave a 4 and not a 5 is because my friend saw that the tanks had dead crabs in it…

We usually visit dim sum all over town and get the fell for the quality of the food. Atmospheres are bonus points. So, Golden Dim Sum. From the our first visit to today’s, this lovely place has grown on the family. Every dish we’ve sampled has a good standard. Service is fast and meals come out steaming hot …locals and former first timers soon become regulars. And it’s the first day of the Lunar Year of the Rabbit. Happy New Year to all at Golden Dim Sum. Today we tried clam with pea leaves dumplings- super tasty. Light fluffy and sweet Egg Custard steamed Buns was also a winner. Lots more to the menu to try. Will be back.
