Houston Barbecue Company

I visited Houston Barbeque Company yesterday with my partner and we had an amazing experience. We were craving some chopped and sliced brisket sandwiches that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and we got exactly that. The brisket sandwiches were the perfect amount of tender and juicy, and barely had any fat on our slices (which we love). We also got fries and fried okra as our sides, and the fried okra was incredible. It was so crispy, flavorful, and fried to perfection. We also tried their two different BBQ sauces, one regular and the other a creamy BBQ sauce with a little bit of heat, and both were so good. My partner got a root beer and I got a classic sweet tea. I was a bit nervous about ordering the sweet tea because not all sweet teas are made the same in the state of Texas, but my goodness, the sweet tea was sweetened to perfection. We also snagged a fruity pebble rice krispy and a macadamia white chocolate cookie at the register, and they were both so delicious. I would like to highlight the incredibly kind, patient, and nice staff members that checked us out. They made our experience even better. Overall, Houston Barbeque Company satisfied our cravings and we are so thankful for that. We will definitely be going back and will recommend this to any and every friend in the area looking for a quick BBQ fix! I would rate this restaurant 10/10.

Service was excellent and very attentive staff. Being this is the closest bbq spot to me, thought I would give it a try. Got the baked potato with chopped beef and sausage plate with two sides. Idk where they get such huge potatoes, but it was excellent. Chopped beef was tasty and not too sweet or tough. Out of a 10 the meat is a 7. I didn’t sit down and eat but it was festive inside. If you’re in the area, give it a try. For a take home dinner, it will have you covered.

I could eat their green beans EVERYDAY. UGH!! Love this place, lean brisket for my guy, this place is the bomb. EDIT FROM MY 3RD VISIT Juan freaking remembered my previous visits and how I've been asking for the chicken salad but disappointed it wasn't available, as soon as I walk in the door, he tells me THEY HAVE IT TODAY AND HE RECALLED ID BEEN INTERESTED!!! This place is so everything, wow kind and consistently 100% satisfying food. Thank you so much!!!

I did a pick up order for a brisket sandwhich, and a turkey sandwhich. Thr turkey sandwhich was for me and the flavor was not really bbqed or smoked in any way. The presentation was wonderful. The chopped brisket sandwhich was for my husband who loves bbq,and he mentioned it was better than the last time he tried this place, but did not give the bbq experience. Over all I will try again maybe dine in instead could be better vs to go. Cute shop and fast service.

I absolutely adore Houston Barbecue Company! It is hands down my favorite BBQ restaurant in Houston. The meats are incredibly flavorful, and the sweet BBQ sauce is simply divine. Their baked beans and mac n' cheese are always on point - a must-have combo for me. And I can never resist their IBC Root beer on tap. Plus, their catering service for holiday meals is superb. Thanksgiving wouldn't be complete without it!
