Came here yesterday for the first time and Damnnn! I’m glad I did, this place is authentic from the food they serve to the building they’re in! So I was in the mood for barbacoa tacos 🌮 and was not disappointed the flour tortillas were homemade and kind of big so two was good enough for me and the barbacoa was super tinder with really good flavor omg so good and the house salsa was good too not to hot very enjoyable also had a fresh lemonade so refreshing and my girlfriend had the tamale 🫔 plate and I’ll give it give it a 8/10 they give you a healthy portion of food on that plate but the tamales were a bit salty, but not too crazy flavor was definitely there! They have a good amount of parking,restroom looked clean and they also have a bar. So overall come here if you want some really good Mexican food, simple 🤷🏽♂️

This was my first visit to Merida, everything was great until I tasted their complimentary sauce. First of all, it was cold, had no taste of fresh peppers or tomatoes. It tasted more like tomato sauce from a can. Otherwise, food and service were great. I enjoyed the food and if I go back I hope the sauce is a little more spicy.

This place was delicious! I had the gorditas and fideo soup which was a delightful combination. The salsa was just okay and the air smelt a little bit like mildew when you walk in. That's the reason I took off a star. I'd definitely return though!

Breakfast -Motulena -tried 1st time. Eggs on Small totilla sorinkled with peas and cheese. Very good. Coffee excellent. Black beans & bacon. Reasonably priced. Not busy but service a little off. Will go back. Picture not as good .

Awesome food! The chips could be saltier and the salsa is more mild, but the food is the best!
We had the Merida Special and the flautas. The Merida special was amazing, perfectly marinated!
The flautas were great, definitely coming back!
The frozen margaritas are a good size and yummy!

Great food always freshly made and large portions. It was busy, so the service could have been better, but overall satisfied. We will be back

This Mexican eatery was busy this afternoon. I enjoyed a hearty serving of carne guisada that was quite delicious. The meal was complimented with excellent service considering the crowd. I will come back again when I’m in Houston.

Came for lunch and tried a few dishes from the menu. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, very colorful with cool mexican folk art. My dad wasn't very happy with his chorizo plate though.
