Miyako

We usually get our food to go and it’s always good. Some of the best sushi and egg rolls EVER! But we decided to dine-in and enjoy happy hour. It is worth it just for the food, it was amazing however the service left so much to be desired. We were not checked on for water or drink refills regularly (almost like we were forgotten), the wrong order was brought to our table by a different waiter because ours disappeared which may also explain why our soup and salad (that came with our order) was never given to us. When we asked for our items it was treated like an after thought but our meal was good. I actually wanted my salad as apart of my dinner however when reminded to bring our items our waiter ask if we wanted our items boxed to go but we felt disappointed and declined the offer. The cherry on top of this service was our dessert which we thought would redeem our service but it was equally as terrible! I would not suggest the chocolate lava cake maybe they just overcooked ours but it was gummy and overdone. Our waiter neglected to check on us to express our discord about our meal and service and we just didn’t feel like waiting on a manager, we took L on our dine-in visit but will still continue to get our food to go or try again when it’s not happy hour.

Walked in with a party of 13, including a wheelchair and they were quick to accommodate. Our experience was wonderful. Our waitress was attentive and the food came out quickly. I haven’t been back to Miyako in years, but I should start coming more often. The food was good and the price is reasonable.

Solid spot for sushi that never disappoints. They have a reverse happy hour at 9 pm that has some great deals. Nice selection of beers and all of the food is great. We especially like the Tiger Eye Roll here. We've tried the edamame and shishito peppers here in the past and they were good. If you're ever on this side of town I highly recommend you stop in a try this place.

Excellent place for sushi and sashimi. They also have a goodish variety of ways to vary miso soup. The acoustics were surprisingly good. Although it was crowded we were able to still effectively talk over dinner. Service was quick also, which was a pleasant surprise given the crowd. Definitely will go back.
