Fresco Cafe Italiano

Nice little Italian place with homemade pasta and pizzas with counter service. Our first attempt a while back was unsuccessful as there were not enough seats and there was a big line ahead of us. We did not have that problem in a Sunday night. Food was excellent. I was surprised there were no bread service thou. Will definitely go back again to try other menu items.

Honestly this place is probably one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a while. Everything from the food to the staff and the chef are all top notch. When I think of Italian food I think of family and that is exactly how they make you feel while you are there. Everyone was extremely nice and made you feel comfortable. You can tell in simplicity and taste of the dishes that Chef Crescini has a passion for what he cooks. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back soon!

This place is a low key spot that seems that they would only serve coffee, breakfast foods, and sandwiches, but once you walk in and see all of the handmade pasta and new daily specials, you realize that it’s more than you think. From my understanding, everything on the menu is made from scratch. We ordered a caesar salad, beef carpaccio, linguini fruta di mari, a lamb based sauce which is called the Tagliatelle with Texas Raised Lamb Sauce, and tiramisu. Everything was extremely delicious but if I could only choose one it would be the Lamb Sauce Tagliatelle which is 7 hours braised lamb in onions, celery, carrots, and tomato sauce! The tiramisu was also one of the best I’ve ever had! I am now on a mission to find a restaurant that is up to par with this one back home in Denver, Colorado!

Went for lunch and noticed an Italian place on the plaza. Decided I wanted some pasta to try today. Small little spot that has pasta and pizza that are made fresh. I had the chicken Alfredo fettuccine pasta and it was absolutely delicious. You can tell right off the bat that everything in it was fresh with just right amount of sauce. Even the parmesan we're freshly grated. The only downside is that it is highly pricey for portion of pasta. I wish they had a lunch option with more reasonable prices. Although they do have pizza that is pretty fairly price. I would definitely come again but maybe not during lunch.
