Agu Ramen - A Ramen Bistro

Have I just been on a ramen craze, or has Houston been trending with new ramen spots?! It might be a little bit of both, but I ain't mad at it (especially with this cold weather coming through). Agu Ramen recently opened its doors (3 of them) in Houston, so I stopped by the closest one to my area in the Energy Corridor. I went to eat with a group of 6, and easily found a table around 11:30A on a Saturday. The space is filled with booths, community low bars (similar to Jinya), and tables. There are industrial style light fixtures hanging with exposed wires and large bulbs, and gray washed wood accents throughout the restaurant. It's kid friendly, but questionable for a large stroller to be pushed through. The staff was friendly, and would come by to refil waters, or remove any lingering plates. My only wishes were that the staff had more personal recommendations, and the gyoza available for order (since that's what my daughter wanted).
