Oui Desserts

Amazing creme brûlée that is our go to for dinner parties, we order then just torch at home and they are always a hit! The tres leches, lemon tart, and strawberry short cake are also some of our favorites. I highly recommend this dessert shop. Also very nice service, always accommodating and family friendly.

Oof! Walking in the door... IT SMELLS SOOO GOOD! I went on a Saturday and it was peaceful and smelt like fresh Beignets! Although, a small selection, the macarons were pretty and delicious. They cakes looked decadent and the Nutella cake was rich and creamy. Service was lovely! Prices were very reasonable and the space was a good mix of contemporary and old cafe. Clean as well! Will return for sure!

I don't know how anyone is getting the idea that this place is pricey. It is by far the cheapest dessert place I've been to and also the best. Heck, everything is even half price on Tuesday, so you can be paying $2.50 for a massive piece of delicious cheesecake or creme brulee. I've probably tried half the things in the store now and I'm always blown away by how good everything is, especially for the price. The macaroons are the cheapest I've seen, only $12 for a dozen. Everywhere else I've see, it's usually around $25. Not only that, but they taste better too. This place deserves way more business than it gets and you should go here right now.

Oui Desserts was something I just decided to try on the spur of the moment. I frequently use the Kirby area businesses, like Office Depot, Supercuts, Vision, and dining establishments such as Khyber Restaurant. I always passed by Oui Desserts as I never had the time to try them out. But this time I did! I entered and was greeted immediately. The interior was small and rather cozy, but could accommodate a half dozen shoppers and diners comfortably. Most seem to come to buy and leave, rather than buy and stay, but shoppers have a choice, so that's good. There was only one person there, presumably the business owner. She was friendly and prompt, and explained what deals they had as this was my first time there. I appreciated her courtesy and making me feel like a valued customer. It is a high end dessert/bake shop, and the prices reflected that, but they were reasonable for the quality goodies. I ended spending around $25 for a dozen coffee macaroons, 3 good sized pecan/chocolate cookies, and a double layer single serve German Chocolate Cake. Now at home I remembered the reason I usually don't shop at bakeries too often! If the goodies are really good, I'll eat a bunch of them at once, then suffer later cutting back on other foods and doubling up on exercises to balance the excess calories. I ended up eating the German Chocolate cake and all three cookies, plus 3 coffee macaroons, in just 2 servings 12-16 hours apart. That was a lot of calories, but they were so delicious, I couldn't hold out for long! Well, Oui Desserts is now on my list of cool bake shops, and I'll have to work on willpower!

I first tried Oui Desserts a few months ago and I loved everything BUT the macarons. I tried again here recently because the reviews seem to be really good. Again, I was majorly disappointed. Maybe it's a personal preference but the macarons at Macaron by Patisse are MUCH better! **The tiramisu, creme brulee, and eclair are DELICIOUS!!! I would recommend everything BUT the macaron. **
