Cajun Crawfish #1

Tucked away in an Asian strip center, this hidden gem is worth the search. The crawfish are some of the best in all of Houston. It's a cozy restaurant,(only seven tables in this place) so save yourself some frustration, call ahead to see if they are on a wait. Their cooking technique makes for easy meat extraction. Also the crawfish were medium-large and up, Every Time(this goes for the boiled shrimp as well). I particularly like their green onion and garlic stir-fry style you can choose for your flavor of seafood. It's really good, you have to try it!! I usually only come here for crawfish and the season ends soon. They also make beautiful fried seafood. I mean really good stuff: perfectly fried,super hot, super crispy, homemade cocktail and tartar. I was pleasantly surprised. If you can't tell, I Love this place. Rose was my server, and she's just as amazing as the food. Polite, helpful and useful she was. I appreciated and took her suggestions.

Really good crawfish... Both the flavor and the size. A lot of times at restaurants, there are small ones, but this place has really good sized crawfish. The 6x spicy was pretty good and still had good flavor. The corn tasted really good and had a sweetness too it as well. Pretty fast service too. Would go back again.

Cajun kitchen was a wonderful place to eat. It was Sunday night and packed at about 8 p.m. when I went there for the first time. The service was good while they were under pressure to feed the masses. With only two servers on the floor they were extremely attentive and polite. The food was all fresh (I ordered the Cajun Favorite with Xtra potatoes and corn and an extra pound of crawfish). The shellfish was cooked perfectly and the flavors were really good. One extra added bonus is that they offered you gloves if you needed them to eat the the boiled crawfish, shrimp or anything else that was messy. They also brought some extra dry rub, butter product and a delicious soy based seasoning sauce. In addition to the main course we ordered some cajun fried rice, cheese fries, and sweet potato fries. Not one thing was subpar. In fact, their cajun fried rice was some of the best fried rice I've ever had and if you know anything about sweet potato fries you know they have to be fried at a slower pace then regular french fries because they will burn much easier due to the natural sugar content in the sweet potato, and these were cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back and so glad that I found this place.
