Le Donut

My 7 yr old son says “it’s 100% good!” Followed by “Shipleys is garbage!”, words I never thought would come out of his little donut loving face. But yes, AMAZING!! The variety of kolaches is awesome including boudin kolaches!! Just do yourself a favor, go in one morning, order the almond croissant (warmed) and eat it immediately. Incredible!! Coffee is a little weak, but not this family’s deterrent from coming back.

Today was my first time visiting this to pick up some donuts and kolaches for work, and I'm glad I stopped by! All of the food was amazing, and the customer service was fantastic! For anyone located near the Texas Medical Center area, it's just outside TMC, open very early for anyone starting work at 6-7 a.m., and has easy parking.

This is where it's at! Seriously! When I resided in the medical center, I discovered this place when craving a tasty breakfast snack. To my amazement, the selections in particular the boudin kolache were heaven. The service you get here is top notch, the owner is always bubbly and sweet. Thank to her and the hard workers for filling my belly and bag with donut holes. Just wish I lived here still but trust I will always make this place a stop when I visit.

In Houston for my biannual appointment. Found this lovely little Nook that serves the most mouth watering breakfast sandwiches & kolaches! They specialize in donuts as well however I can't say enough about the delicious breakfast sandwich. So much better than Starbucks! We'll be stopping by this little gem from now on. We had the sausage, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich & a sausage kolache. Yum! 😋 We were also given a side of donut holes to try as well. Such a gracious treat & so delicious. The coffee was very good too. Not too strong, bitter, or old & burnt. I highly recommend trying this place. If your near the medical area in Houston give Le Donut on Old Spanish Trail a try, you won't be disappointed. 🙂 Thank you to all the lovely staff! We will be back! Happy fourth of July!
