Miyako Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Went to Miyako for the first time a few weeks ago and had a really great experience! The food was good but the service was outstanding. We sat in the bar and the bartender had great recommendations and catered to our needs really well. She introduced me to a new drink, and it was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. We will definitely be coming back!

I went to this place for my first time the service it’s ok. However the food was incredible delicious. They have many options to choose. I got myself steak since I like to eat meat. and it doesn’t taste like a basic steak. it has a really nice touch of teriyaki flavor, worth trying this and my wife got New York sushi.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The standout feature here is undoubtedly the sushi, which is of top-notch quality. Their happy hour menu is also a winner, offering great value for money. One of the things that impressed me the most was the customer service. The staff was incredibly attentive and had an excellent knowledge of the menu. They were more than willing to provide recommendations and answer any questions, which greatly enhanced the dining experience. In terms of parking, the availability of a parking garage nearby is a plus, and it's worth noting that there's more parking here compared to their other location on Westheimer Rd. This convenience makes dining here even more enjoyable. The restaurant's open concept is a winner, creating a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. The aesthetics are pleasing, with beautiful wallpaper and ample booth seating. It adds a touch of elegance to the dining experience. Although I used to frequent their other location, I've decided to make this location my new go-to spot. It's the perfect place for sushi lovers looking for quality, value, and a wonderful dining ambiance.

Another update as food still good and decent happy hour specials remain. Service was better this time which is welcoming. ________________________________________ Update as tried again but service was just as bad. Seems like enough servers but unorganized as we went early this time and it was very empty. __________________________________________ Great happy hour specials on drinks and sushi. The food was great but the service was really bad. Our drinks we ordered with the appetizers showed up after our apps and sushi arrived after several inquiries. Asked 3 people for soy sauce and rarely could find a server.
