Christy's Donuts Kolaches

Love this no frills old school donut shop! They've been around for decades and for good reason. Their donuts are simply the best in town. They have a variety of flavors but I keep it simple and always get a glazed and chocolate ice. They also throw in a couple of donut holes too. They also offer kolaches and other pastries. Customer service is great. Parking can be tight during peak hours but you only need to wait a few minutes since people constantly come and go.

Long time local staple and for good reason. Quality, fresh donuts, kolaches...just the basics. You're not going to find matcha anything or fancy decorations, shapes or gluten-free, here. You will find fresh, quality regular yeast & cake donuts; glazed and chocolate, some pink, white and sprinkle options and donut holes. Bear claw and apple fritters too. Kolaches include but not limited to the stalwart regular and large sausage/cheese, jalapeño option, ham/cheese, boudin. They also serve some breakfast tacos but I haven't tried those. Efficient service which is great, especially on the weekends when you can find lines out the door...so please do everyone a favor and be prepared with your order. Small parking lot.

Customer service was on point and I recommend the following donuts: crumb, pink frosted, and white frosted with sprinkles. All these donuts were of the yeast variety and gave the satisfaction of noshing on sweet fluffy bread whilst enjoying the variability of its topping. The place also pasts the vibe check reminding me of my days spent in Cali Winchel donut shops in the 1980’s. All you vintage seekers pop in for a donut and photo op!

Christy’s is a true gem! This place is the real deal. Their menu is simple and the vibe is vintage-diner-homey. The staff show patience and kindness while offering great suggestions to first-timers. Apparently they open at 4am and close around 2p (or whenever they sell out). The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get. My husband and I ate breakfast for less that $10. We each got a Kolache and a donut, which both just about melted in our mouths! It looks like a true hole in the wall and I would strongly recommend this as your go to morning pit stop.
