First time and service was impeccable. Wait time for food was little and tasted great.

I've been eating here for many years. And I have to say I've enjoyed it most all the time. But of late the food seems to have been lacking a bit and the inside of the cafe has become dated and worn. I know times are hard and money is short but a little bit of effort to fix some of the accommodations would be good. And the extra bathroom needs to be repaired..

I saw the reviews and decided to give it a try! I was not disappointed at all! Me & my kids started going for breakfast every morning. Lol. We became regulars just that fast. The food is hot & is served very quickly. The pancakes were big. I literally got full off of the 2x2x2 meal. Worth the price. Everyone is so friendly & kind that works there. It’s a friendly environment. They give my kids lollipops every time we leave. Lol.

Today I tried the cheesesteak omelet & it was awesome! I chose the grits & biscuits for my sides. The grits were bland, however, from a business pov it's understandable. Just season to taste & you're good to go. The biscuits on the other hand, were melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
A little fyi, if you pay w/a card the charge will show as TSS ARAPOGLOU INC.(as of this post). I freked out the 1st time b/c I didn't know who the heck it was...until now.

Overall, it was a good experience. Do not order the gravy for breakfast. It's not country gravy but a bland white gravy. Eggs, hash brown, bacon, and French toast are all great. The servers are friendly. For this biscuits and gravy girl, it broke my heart.

This cafe makes me feel like i went back in time. I love the way it has a warmth feel to it. I didnt see any the day i went but i could imagine a cup of coffee with some vets talking about old war stories. This place is truly a gem im just sad i just found it and not long ago. I been living in this area for about 17 years. But hey theres a time and a place for everything. By the way the gyro and onion rings were delicious took me back to my days living in chicago.

Jessica was terrific. This was my 2nd visit and she remembered my Mom (she has Alzheimers). She remembered how my Mom's behavior was and was very professional, kind and understanding. She catered to my Mom so wonderfully 💕 Tnank you Jessica!
