Small dining area but good tasty food! I highly recommend the Spicy Tonkotsu and Tamashi's Menn ramen. The Spicy miso was okay, I had better. The taste was different from all the other places I had but overall everything was good.

The Yuzu Yellowtail was outstanding. The sauce on it was very delicious. The ramen was not bad but felt like it was lacking something. The egg in the ramen was tasty.

The place was a little small and there was a slight wait outside, but the flavors in my ramen made up for it! They do not have a chicken substitute option, so I got shrimp instead. Wasn’t a fan of the sexy mama roll, should have stuck with my go-to the Shaggy Dog. Server was very attentive. I’d try this spot again on at a calmer time!

Stumbled upon Tamashi the other evening while looking for restaurants in the area. Every table was full except for the back counter. The place is small but it adds to the charm. Service was prompt and the food was very good. We had the seaweed salad, pork noodle bowl and spicy pork noodle bowl. We'll definitely be back again.

Was a little worried about Texas Sushi but this place delivered the goods! Food was fresh and well prepared. Would definitely recommend it!

LOVE...LOVE...LOVE this place. It's one of our favorite go-tos when we're in Houston. It small and unassuming, but the flavors are great. I get Miso, wife gets sushi. She says the Eel rolls are awesome. I say the Miso is spot-on. It's a well-priced meal and a great value for the money.

Ordered the tamashi menn, the sushi platter (chefs choice) and the caterpillar roll. Very good dishes. Highly recommend coming here for a good fix of food. The restaurant was decorated nicely and the staff is very attentive and nice. Saw one of the staff handing out candy to little kids as they left which spoke volumes to the type of people working here.

Delicious noodles & sushi. Even my picky eater husband loved them so much he waited outside, in a very sunny evening, for a table, when he has NEVER done that before (that should give an idea how good the menu here is). Waiting staff is very attentive & since it is a small place, they can check on all the tables at the same time perfectly & in a fast matter. The mood inside is heaven for manga lovers & any fan of Japanese culture. We have visited multiple times already & planning on keep visiting!
