Orange Leaf Houston Jeresy Village

Possibly the best yogurt place in H-Town. It has nothing to do with the snack, but the owners. The brothers are the kindest most humble people I have met. They are friends of the neighborhood, they remember you, and they keep the place clean. This is not a place where teens working do not care. They care for the people and the place. Like many of our neighbors we posted on social media and ordered curbside because of the people who run this great place.

I have been going to Orange Leaf since I was 5. We're great friends with the owners, two twin brothers, Asaad and Ashraf. They are so nice and while I can't speak for myself, because of our closeness with the owners, they treat everyone like family. Froyo there is amazing, and they sometimes will give you samples. Some people complain because they can't sample for themselves. But. I know why they don't let you. It is because whoever does it might overfill the sample cup and just eat it and walk out because samples are free. So don't complain. Plus they are doing everything they can to ensure you come back

I love trying new flavors! Yesterday I got 3 in my cup: wedding cake, coffee and pistachio! Numerous toppings to choose from! Orange Leaf is always clean and tidy. There was a group of kids in before us. We decided to get ours to-go. The kids were well behaved. Just busy enjoying their treats. Nice neighborhood spot!

Short version- customers are treated like friends, there are at least 4 non-dairy flavors which are ah-mazing, and their support of local schools and area teams, and Scout groups (all sports), make you want to support their business more and more. *And now the details of our experience: The owners, brothers who are always there and know almost everyone's current family/life situation is a fresh breath in the world of franchises with no heart or attachment to the local community. Their sincerity is felt every trip. Once when my daughter (and the family trying to support her) was dealing with a very serious situation, the owners noticed a change in her demeanor and asked me if she was okay. I told them tearfully no. Once explained, with stunned, heartbroken faces, they asked how they could help? I simply asked that they not draw attention to the behavior change, and pray for our family. (*Side note their family origin is in the Middle East, and we are cleary Christians. Our countless visits to OL, laid a foundation, they knew my request was genuine and sincere. Immediately it was agreed we would be in daily thoughts and prayers. Who knew spirit could speak to spirit, regardless of religious origin?) 🍧Now, yes you can get frozen yogurt anywhere. But does it come from owners who are THAT dedicated to their customers? **Almost forgot, my son is lactose intolerant, and there's at least 4, perhaps 6 (depending on seasonal flavors) flavors that are dairy free! And add the great assortment of toppings that are also dairy free, this is the original reason we first started making this Orange Leaf our favorite yogurt stop!🛑🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️🍨😇
