Pollo Tropical Chicken On The Grill

Addicted. edit: So sad these are all closing. If you have not had the chance, they have a couple left in Houston. I don't know how they went out of business. You could get a lunch there cheaper and infinitely better than McDonald's next door. Maybe they should have changed the name to Cafe Tropical instead as Chicken was not the only thing they had there. You could get the roasted chicken, but they also had roast pork and (my favorite) Calypso beef. I hope the owners can reboot with a better name and the same food.

I'm very sad to see this place close!!! I know this delicious food from back home in Miami. But when I heard it closed permanently I knew exactly why!! It was the employees! I'm putting this so the company knows the truth from the horses mouth. They killed it. Because when they first opened all was perfect, I felt I was back home. But as time went by the employees changed & things started changing. They weren't weren't weren't keeping it like when it started & when you change what shouldn't be changed you loose that spark! I'm very sad to see this place close! I hope that the management or owners pay attention to this so they can save the rest of the locations here in the city!
