Food was amazing! I got the steak tacos, flan and a coke for 20$! The flan was homemade an amazing!!

Food is really good but. Prices are reasonable. But beware they include 18% gratuity in your bill when they give your total to pay, which makes think you still have to add the tip. Which we did so was I leaving a 33% total tip. Once in the car I checked my bill and realized what they did. I went back and they let me scratch the extra tip I wrote in the credit card pmt.

Great food... waitress not very attentive... I was gonna order some food to go and well the waitress never came back to check on us until I called her for the bill... ohh well.

Been going here since I was a kid, been to all of the chain locations, this one is my favorite! They normally don't speak any English but food always come sout fast and fresh! Love the orange juice and sodas :) trompo is the specialty, always get it

This place is delicious! It's also quite cheap for a Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend the chicken Tacos and potato Tacos.
However, the staff unfortunately seem to have a bit of a problem with English, and i have to order in Spanish for the people who are eating with me

Amazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great, waitress Stephanie was so friendly and kind. The food can't get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food. Recommend the gringas and nachos are a must. Ambiance is good.

Tacos del Julio and Tostada Regia are about the only places in Houston to get the closest thing to "Legit" Mexican food. The food here has always been great however service was really bad in the past. We kept coming because food was amazing....I must admit, service has improved but still lacking a bit....
I once got in a fight with a waitress there because she did not understand the difference between guacamole and "Salsa de Aguacate " even though their menu clearly showed the difference. She argue with me that it was the same thing...SMH
