Cousins Maine Lobster

We were excited to try this truck when they were in the Katy area quite a while back. Believe the other reviews, they are accurate. A tiny snack on a hot dog bun for the $ you can have a real meal from a decent seafood joint for. My wife and I regretted the choice and have never considered another visit.

The best I can say is it is okay and that is a stretch.. I understand that you pay extra for the fact that it is a food truck, and that it is lobster but for $16.00 I expect better than the tiny sandwich I received. There where bits of shell, the bread was soggy, and the lobster was over cooked. Lastly they forgot part of my order, they did give it after I came back, but still..

Now, I understand that this company is from the north east and pricey prices are the norm in that area of the US. HOWEVER, I think $18 for a SMALL, and I mean tiny lobster roll, is INSANE. My roll was literally a slice of toasted Texas toast, mayo, and 3 pieces of OVERCOOKED lobster (there’s no way that was a lobster tail) I know most will want to try this place from seeing them on Shark Tank (admittedly, that’s why I was super pumped to try them out). If you’re in a fix for lobster/seafood, support local yummy restaurants that will be friendly on the taste buds and wallets.

I haven't tried this place, but with all the poor reviews I don't understand how they are still operating. I've been on a lobster roll kick, and the best so far has been Milleys in Oak Forest. It's the naked (garlic butter and herbs) with succulent fat lobster roll. It was amazing! The fresh cut french fries were scrumptious. Thank you Millleys!
