Panera Bread

With someone in the ICU down the street, I wanted some place to hang out between the sparse visits we were allowed. The manager, Dallas, made us feel welcome, every time we came in. He allowed minor modifications on our order, and even brought it to our table, returning on the regular to ask if there was anything we needed. Take note, this man is an asset to the Panera brand! There have been some times when this place has colder coffee at the stand, or dirty tables. The mark of a good employee is not about them being able to keep up, it's about their ability to remedy the situation when it is brought to their attention, and this was well attended. When it comes to Paneras, this is a nice little hang, even when you are in a tough situation. And does it ever beat hospital food! If you are going to be hanging out a bit, do your wallet a favor and sign up for Sip Club for each of our party members, you can get a drink every 2 hours, which is about how long you have between visits. It can pay for itself on the first day, and you don't have to add the drink costs to your orders unless they are something extravagant.

Panera is great. Employees could be alot better... especially the food makers. Panera definitely gets a 9 out of 10. Food servers/ creators get a 5 out of 10. Please consider getting the monthly unlimited drinks and coffee's ☕ You'll be glad you did. Monthly membership pays for its self after a couple of days visits and the rest of the month is free from there.

I had a great experience placing a large catering order with manager, Shanta. She helped walk me through gift card purchasing, understanding the details of the order, and making sure everything was right. I really appreciate the time she took to patiently help me with all of my questions and make our event a success. She was so friendly, too! Lisa, the catering lady, was also so helpful with my questions and explained each sandwich in detail. I will be coming back for another Panera (on West Holcombe, Houston, TX) order due to this outstanding customer service. Thank you Shanta!
