Vinny's

I went there twice. Had a slice of the meatzilla, it was almost like their slices were made the night before and so they kind of taste it like freezer or like other flavors from the refrigerator you know like whenever you warm up a pizza or something. The second time that I went there. I chose to get an entire pepperoni pizza which was phenomenal. I also tried that garlic cheese roll in my pictures and it was so much better the second time I guess because it was fresh also. I definitely would go back. I definitely will try it a bunch of times every time I go to an Astros game.

Fresh pies are great, the slices sometimes are reheated into a very dry state (very apparent when we ordered 3 slices of cheese, 2 was from the slice window and another from a fresh pie). I have no problems with room temp/cold pizza and next time would prefer to get a slice without it being reheated.

Stopped in here for a quick bite before leaving EaDo and it didn’t disappoint. They had a variety of different pizzas on display that you could order slices from, or order a whole pie. They also reheated your slices in the brick oven prior to serving them which was nice, but also a little strange since it made me realize that the whole pizzas were not under any type of heat lamp or other temperature control device while they sit on the counter. Overall pretty good NY style pizza, although it was a bit pricey (~$10 for the two slices after tax). EDIT: changing to 5 stars because their Maui Wowi pizza is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.
