The Egg & I Restaurant

First Watch has a delightful earthy relaxed environment great fresh food ,good service unique plates and Is a must visit for anyone in the mood for tasty healthy dishes. I had the crab covered avocado toast which had Monterey Jack cheese fresh avocado with delicious fresh crab on top and a healthy portion of it too. The two eggs that came out with it looking at me were cooked absolutely perfect

Absolutely loved my experience here! The food was delicious. I had the Florentine Eggs Benedict, which was divine, and dessert was a sweet Bananas Foster French Toast, which was just as wonderful! The drinks were great too. Started with coffee and a mimosa, then followed with their tart Blackberry Sangria. Our server was Dyon and she was super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was cute and cozy. Great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. I'm definitely coming back!

For this being a chain, I'm quite impressed with the flavors and the presentation. I came in mother's day with family and although it was a long wait, we were taken care of so well by our waitress. My aunt is very selective about food because she's recovering from cancer and she likes coming here because of the healthier options. My cereal milk drink with rum and cold brew was a fascinating concoction, made to sweet perfection. My frittata was delish, but the only complaint I have is that the potatoes could have been a bit less salty. Other than that it is a great place to have a semi healthy breakfast. Loving the concept of a seasonal menu too. Will most likely be back to see the variety between seasons.

Really 3.5 stars... Staff was extremely friendly, above and beyond. The food was good, but surprisingly small portions. My biggest concern and the only reason for the missing star 🌟 is the horribly tasting water. It even smelled badly. Please invest in a filtration system. I don't think I can go back until that's fixed.
