Laredo Taqueria

A proud tiny Houston establishment. The decor is Houston sports teams. The tables are simple and two waitresses hustle between them taking orders and serving. No menu with a mini buffet setting as you enter. (Spoke with the owner and said that his entrée foods change every week). This is a restaurant where you can get tacos with what they offer on the now. I asked what the had and she started rattling off, "fajitas, eggs with bacon, carnitas..." I stopped her there. I ordered 2 tacos of carnitas with everything on corn tortillas but they are made fresh and had run out by noon on a Sat. (to be expected as the place was packed). I settled for flour tortillas and my waitress said that the tacos were big. She wasn't lying. I ordered a large "Agua de Jamaica". Best carnitas I've found so far. Total price $10 and I was stuffed and satisfied. Will definitely bring my gf back here. Super economical for the portions.

Great breakfast tacos for sure. Their tacos are also massive FYI but thats a good thing. Fairly priced as well for what you get. Friendly staff. The restaurant was very clean and organized. Oh and the restrooms were extremely clean too. I just new as soon as I smelled fabuloso that they would be nice and clean and sure enough, sparkly clean.

Food: A Service: A Ambiance: A Cleanliness: A I went on a Sunday morning. This was my first time to visit. You can tell they made the corn tortillas there. And they have taqueria prices so you can fill yourself for under $10! What I LOVED was that the corn tortillas were the same size as the flour ones so I didn't feel gipped with my tacos. What I REGRET was not ordering the beans smeared on my taco. After tasting the taco I felt that missing. But lesson learned. I'll do it next time. HINT: Pay attention to the serving station with all the food at the front door. They don't have a menu and that's all they serve.
