Had lunch today. Chili is still good and hotdogs are too. Hotdogs buns super fresh.

We go here every once in a while. If a craving for chili cheese dogs happens, this is the place to go. 2 chili cheese dogs and a chili cheese tots are my favorite. They also have corn dogs and sliders I believe. There's ice cream if you have any room left after the hot dogs and tots.

We stopped by this JCI on our way home from Dallas after the JCI in our neighborhood closed months ago. I was so happy to see one of the employees that worked at the highway 6 location for years working at this location now!
We talked for a bit and placed our order.
The Walker Combo with extra cheese on the tots was delicious!! My husband had the Texas dog and he loved it! The sweet tea was super sweet and we had several refills.
All of the employees were friendly, the dining room was clean and the food was fantastic.

I have been enjoying James Coney Island hotdogs since I was a little kid. My dad would take me to the old location for years in downtown Houston. I miss the wooden chairs it had and the smell.
This location was a first for me and I had a good time here. Staff was friendly and the was good.

Just what expected. A good hot dog. The Chicago style dog was spot on with the neon green relish and sport pepper. Chili dog was good as well.

Since I was like 6 I’ve been eating at JCI and I still love it as much now as then… Walker Street Combo all the way, is my only go to!!! Can’t mess up eating here!!!!

Love me some James Coney hotdogs. Brings me back to growing up in Houston. Steamed buns chili and cheese. Nothing can beat this classic combo of comfort food. Will come in whenever I am in the area.
Have a lot of menu items but I generally stick to the basics. 2-Cheese Coney Combo.

What a great staff and restaurant! I told them how long it had been since I'd visited a James Coney Island and they gave me tons of info, kept me laughing, and really made me feel welcome. The food was amazing and I tried the new Country Fried Hotdog, it was SO tasty. Sure, it's probably bad for me but it was yummy beyond belief! The other Coney and chili cheese fries rocked, too! Try this out, you'll love it!
