I ordered breakfast tacos. Gave four stars only because the food was a little unseasoned for my taste. But it was fresh. The service was fast and reasonably priced.

This place is really good! Been twice and the first time had the mole that was good and the second got tacos which were delicious as well. I ordered coffee expecting generic coffee, but I got really good coffee. Also it's right next to the bike trail so you can ride up and sit on the patio.

Very unassuming little gem right in the heights. Delicious little family run taqueria. Great authentic food and friendly service. Best breakfast tacos hands down... and don't forget the salsa. Deliciousness!

My favorite breakfast tacos in the Heights. Family-owned and operated business. Nopales and eggs ftw! I love coming in weekends when the owners’ kids are the wait staff. So cute. Super cheap and delicious. Cash only.

Forget about tacos a gogo. This is the real deal, food us fresh, delicious and authentic. Sure, sure, no decoration and stuff but who cares. And the salsa is easy the best in town. This place is great

El Gallo de Jalisco is a neighborhood, family-run taqueria with the best breakfast tacos in the Heights (and beyond?). I love walking there in the morning and getting exceptional coffee and tacos. The tortillas are great and the meat and sauce is done very well. They are cash only - so bring your dolla dolla bills.
